Southwest Airlines har opdateret sin officiel iOS-app at medtage mobil boardingkort support i 28 lufthavne i alt efter en udrulning af funktionen i Austin, Texas sidste år. Ud over udvidet mobil boardingpas-understøttelse inkluderer appen nu også kommende rejsekort, der indeholder flyoplysninger såsom boardingposition og gateplacering, samt adgang til flyværktøjer som mobil check-in fra startskærmen.
